Bassmaster product slideshow

Couple standouts to me:

Booyah Melee, marketed as a deeper running weedless bladed jig.

Tokyo Rig, lot of variations on this being used recently, but I like how this one looks.

Revo Rocket, 10.1:1 at 41 inches per turn, woof.

Curado DC. Not really my cup of tea but first time Shimano has released a DC reel in the USDM.

Shimano SLX, these look interesting at $99. Basically updated version of their lower end baitcasters with their newer features, working off the Curado K platform which has been a big hit.

Jordan Lee gettin PAID.

and the coup de grace...

what you've all been waiting for...

The $300 dollar yeti backpack.

Glad you started this, DT. Looking forward to everything that is going to be out.

I may pick up one of those SLXs when they hit retailers. I have a few Curados and Citicas and love both of them so hopefully it is a happy medium between the two.

I've got my eye on those, I've got a caenan and have no complaints for a cheaper reel, and have heard good things about the casitas that this is probably replacing.

It's just a jika rig. They've been around a minute.

There's so many names and variations on it that it's hard to keep up with. Punch shot, jika rig, power shot, etc. This one is kinda unique with the solid wire that can accept any slip weight on the fly.

13's got a TX series of their concept Z that will be released at iCast. No experience with the z series but it looks sexy in tx color they use.

Without looking into the specs are the ZTX reels just a Z in a different color for $130 extra?

I think I am going to have to check out that DC Curado! As a reel enthusiast, this one gets me excited. Shimano has released some really good reels in the past 18 months.

It seems like a cool concept but I don't know how many people are gonna be willing to pay the premium just to prevent a few backlashes here and there. Would be cool for chunking crankbaits into wind though.

Agreed, but I don't get the smooth clutch bar. It's totally a mental thing but it drives me nuts. I actually use my K less because of it, even though it's a better built reel than the I series I use instead.
