Since this thread has somewhat of a hunting theme I figured id post this little bit of info.
Saw two hunting violation cases in court today. One was two old guys hunting without deer tags. Sentencing was 15 dollar fine.
One guy was caught shooting a duck the day before the season opened. Charged with hunting during closed season and possession of an illegal duck. Sentenced to 400 dollar fine on both counts, 120 days in jail, suspended. And 2 years bench probation.
The state sure does love their ducks!
