I need very short Mlok screws

Have an AR9 with a flash can that the handguard goes over. I have a flash light attached to the hand guard but the screws I currently have extend too far and start to push on the flash can. It's actually enough force to bend the can/barrel noticeably off center. The screws I have are about 12mm long. Does anyone know the thread pitch of an Mlok screw? I found some 10mm ones on amazon but I think I need even shorter than that. I found a site with 6mm screws but they were sold out. I suppose if I know the thread pitch and width I could get some from a hardware store.

The M lok screws could be a number of different sizes. It is the M lok slot system that has a standard of specifications, the screws just have to be within a pretty wide range of specifications.
That said, Ace probably has the screw and they will have a little thread tester to determine the thread pattern on your screws. If you have trouble just post a picture and I can get you closer. I always keep stainless M3/m4/m5 screws on hand with similar sizes in AMERICAN sizes, like #8 and #10 threads. I guarantee the size you are looking for is in those 5 thread patterns.

Have you considered grinding them down to size?

This is what I did to get clearance when I needed it.

I did but don't have the capability to do that. I have no power tools where I'm at unfortunately.

Get a sheet of sand paper and rub the screw back and forth...
But the screws should be cheap, did you get this figured out?
