Soft case has straps that hold the guns down ok but they still seem to shift a little bit and have been getting some scratches I'd like to avoid just via storage and moving them around.

I feel like the perfect thing would be some kind of rod with 2 semi circle ends on both sides that would fit around the hand guards on each gun and it being stiff would keep them separated better than the soft straps.

TIA

maybe try a NEW (non-chlorine exposed) soft styrofoam pool noodle cut to fit?? Or other similar material that doesn't come in pink...

I bet that could work. With some PVC inside to add rigidity.

pool noodle

That or backer rod they use for caulking. Comes in different diameters and may look a little neater than cut up pool noodle. Available at any hardware store.

go to home depot and get one of those the big paint stirring sticks. they are 1/4" thick and 1.5" wide and about 18" long

that should make an excellent divider for you and you can even wrap it in material if you want to get fancy
