if your looking for places in that area to eat and such... Clarksville, TN is 30min out of hopkinsville.... My brother still lives there. Hopkinsville is a straight up dump. only thing they do is breathe and breed... The city motto is..."why go across the street when you can go across the hall?"
ETA.... its really not that bad... still have a lot of friends there..... just one of those places i wouldnt move to, but if i had it to hunt... id be up there in a second!

I live in clarksville Tn, and hunt in Christian county. Lots of good deer. Hunt on a small tract of 250 acres. Lots of does and some good bucks. Didn't kill a buck last year but passed on some nice ones. It's worth it in my opinion.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to give it a shot for this year at least. Last year we stayed at the hotel by the cracker barrel in Hopkinsville, but this year we should have a camp or a RV to stay in. As far as eating, last year we went to a town and ate at a hooters style sports bar called the tilted quilt. That town seemed to have a variety of places. Any tips as far as hunting that area goes? Baiting suggestions besides corn and food plots?
