And I'm pretty stoked about the results. All the materials were scavenged from the neighborhood before trash day. People throw away a lot of good stuff!!!

Nice looking boxes and they upgrade the looks and hide the plastic containers way to go. us po boys always on the look out for stuff to use to make stuff Around the house its palate season the local farmers feed and seed place is getting truck loads of stuff in and generating a pile of palates great for lil projects I got my fire pit stocked up with a nice pile of cut wood and am working on a compost box if I get it done I'll post it.

Damn, Ross. When was the last time you washed your truck?

Those look great. I did something similar with fence pickets but went horizontal with them. I need to come to your neighborhood for trash day.

My work has tons of pallets as well. I take the good ones when I can but the fence pickets were stacked up nice and neat. Saw them after church a few weeks ago. The wife was thrilled

When I saw the first pic my thought was 'man those tall wooden garden boxes are hard to keep watered in the summer". I never thought of using them to conceal a proper container. Great idea. Good feeling to start out with a pile of someone elses "trash" and turn it into something.
Anyone know where to buy food grade 35 or 55 gal plastic drums in the BR area? /hyjack
