Hwy. 82 Open?

We are heading to Sacred Heart Church in Creole on Saturday, to help with clean up, and I am wondering if Hwy. 82 is clear coming from the East? We were there last weekend and water still covered the road a couple miles before Creole.
Trying to decide if we should take the Hwy. 14 route again, coming from Lafayette.

Pretty sure the hwy is open all the way now. Maybe some delays due to roadside debris removal though.

It was open this past Tuesday when we went down there. Lots of debris cleanup and utility work.

Depends on where you lease is. I know we were spared for the most part in Pecan island but we are going into our marsh On Saturday completely blind. Have no idea what it’s gonna look like.

Happy to help. Met some good people from that area last weekend. There were a couple of families from the church parish helping clean up while their homes lay in ruin. Seems like a strong faith community as they were proud of church. Sorry, I don’t remember any names.
