My house is in a higher part of the subdivision and is built up, so we don't have any worries, but you can paddle a pirogue down my street right now and the back canal is basically a pond right now.

My brother got all the mattresses up
and stuff inside on top of bunks.
We were also about to tear that shed down and build one in the back by there generators.

Just sent. but they dont do it justice. We were trying to beat a shower that was coming on us so I didn't get out. You can see the debris on the screens. Back on land was all mud. By our camp we had about three inches of mud on back slope of land and dock. Was a pain to clean dock, but kept it in perspective knowing what you have ahead of you. Looks like a few camps on the canal took a beating. could see when running down channel that water below goose Bayou was as high as the levees still.

Camp on Tickfaw had 3-4 feet of water in it. Guessing the cinder blocks that have always been plenty to keep the furniture dry didn't cut it this time. At least a foot and a half higher than anyone ever remembers seeing it.

Just returned from dulac survey of the camp. Despite 75-100 mph winds, the old camp held up with very minimal damage. Thanks for yalls prayers!

Great news. I was expecting the worst up our way too.
Between you and I, we dodged a major bullet.
Oh yeah,
