I looked at that one hard... I just wanted the ability to cook steaks and burgers on top of a fire as well.

Could’ve just got a Weber for that, but then I lose my small foot print with a Weber and a smoker. May make a move in the future though. Lang’s are nice smokers

My partner has one and it is awesome, but you’re right—it certainly can’t do any searing. My next buy will be one of their competition trailer-mounted rigs.

Look at the pits outside of buccees.

The ones I saw in Baytown were nice as shite for about $600-$700.

It's been a while. Can't confirm they are still there...I'd drive and get one when I need another one though. I liked it enough.
