Help me oh great OB'ers. We are starting to see a lot more hogs then deer on our cameras this year. So some of the people at the camp want to shut off the feeders we have thinking the hogs will just leave. I tried to explain to them that the hogs will return as soon as we resume feeding. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

If the hogs are there already they will not go away easily.

Pigs do roam. Ive seen several instances of a piece of property having them then they disappear for months at a time. Its not guaranteed they will leave if you do away with the feeders but they damn sure will stay if there is a steady supply of corn

if you have a water source and food they will be there. If you turn off the feeders they may leave but they will be back. Trap them and shoot them. Make a don't pass rule for all hogs seen.
Everything hog thread

This

I only use corn after deer season to try and kill off hogs. Stopped in March. Nothing out there till September when I put out a mineral block for the deer.Got hog pics the third night it was down and roughly every other night since.
SOB's are ghosts during the day, NO daytime sightings/pics whatsoever. Hog shite all over the oak flat I'm hunting but no pigs during hunting hours.
Hate the bastards with a passion.
