I also have a PA14 and love it. It seems to be the popular choice of the large baws on the OB. I am fairly large myself and it is comfortable and easy to standup and fish. I just using a floating bait bucket when using live bait. I am not a big fan of using live bait, but sometimes it is a necessity.
