I do?

No. I'm just saying, it's really not a haven for "yuppies" at all like you made it out to be.

And for the record, yea, rednecks are pretty annoying.

Upstate New York and rural New England might not be stereotypical citified yankees, but it's far from real redneck.

Depends on the type.

If this song describes them, then yea, that's pretty annoying.

Also redneck gangsters.

I like rednecks, they are good people.. except the ones laid up at home scamming social security checks

So, what do consider redneck?

I grew up all around rednecks. I have a bit of a redneck streak in me.

But since moving to FL, never have I seen so many people so insecure in their Southern identity than these people. When in doubt, jack up your truck and put a stars and bars on the front. That'll do it. Those are the people I can't stand.

Redneck does not equal Southern.

Well.. they got some backwoods people in that area, but it is generally the same type in Vermont, NH etc imo

I have no problem with lifted trucks in general. It can look great. If you lived here, though, you would understand exactly what I'm talking about.

Where did you grow up? I'm guessing ky, I live pikeville fwiw. And what redneck tendencies do you have?

You might just be a hillbilly, and hillbilly does not equal redneck.. even though it is close

No I know what you're talking about, just fricking with you. Mine's just leveled out, plus an inch, to fit 33's.

This post has sparked an interesting question. What defines a redneck? I think I should take it to the OT...

Bullitt County.

I wouldn't say I have many redneck "tendencies", per se at least not to anyone here. Just saying that hipsters would probably think I'm just a redneck. Rednecks would probably think I'm...not a redneck. I don't know.

I do wear boots and Wranglers. Fish, hunt. I wouldn't call those redneck necessarily, though.
