The Vietnamese where I grew up used to just pave the entire yard in concrete. No lawn problems ever.

I might just give that a try. Already thinking of overseeding my lawn this fall with crimson clover.

I saw something about this a couple of years ago. There are a few problems with this technique, I did try it.
1) Your grass will out run the peas.
2) Natural critters wil come in. You better have a king snake available for active duty.
3) It takes like 20lbs of seed to make a row like this. 20lbs of seed in a tilled field would have you an acre o peas.
