You need to roost them.
Not really a necessity

Roosting then is a great idea but hard to do and although I have successfully done it half a dozen times to tree and dozens to few hundred yard area I am still 0 for 1000. A lot of shite can still go wrong.

You need a podnuh to go with you and have him set up just like you have been doing but have him post up about 40 yards farther back than you.
Make sure you trust him to not shoot you or your bird.
This. Or call very very quietly. Or just be patient and wait a week or so.
Some birds are just hardasses that like to strut and make the hens come to them. You have to give the bird blue balls by teasing him. Very soft calls, just some purrs and scratching leaves like you are a hen that’s feeding and want nothing to do with his dick.
Sometimes if you wait a week or so and then more hens are all bred then they will become more antsy to come in. The other option as said is to deer hunt em.

It is when the poster above said hunt them off the roost.

Haven’t heard a gobble al weekend. Sat there Friday for 6 hrs and yesterday morning till 10. Just some soft clicking and had a lone hen come in each time.

Don’t give up man, you can do it. Bring someone with u and get them to call. Every single time I have done this I have either had shots at jakes that I passed on or super close calls to a kill. They should be 40 feet or so behind u
