That and the steyr scout don't get the love they should. Really practical and capable little rifles. The steyr is kinda goofy and would be better without the bipod stock thing but it's otherwise extremely cool.

only reason i dont have a ruger scout is i dont need a 308. i dont deer hunt. otherwise it seems to be the perfect short/light/versatile rifle. if i needed 308 though that would be my first choice
