So the boy is getting a small 4 wheeler for Christmas. I dont have a truck to take it around places and I don't feel like using a small utility trailer everytime we go somewhere. Anyone have a suggestion for a hitch carrier? Ive been wanting one anyways for hauling crawfish pots and ice chests. The 4wheeler has a width of 31" which is bigger than most. I'll have to get a real measurement though. Weight is only 185lbs so the weight shouldnt be an issue. Found these 2 linked below, anyone have any other suggestions? I really want to but a 4wheeler for me and just use the trailer, but its not in the cards right this minute.

At worst case if you can’t find anything to fit it, you could buy one of those and just get it mostly in the rack and strap it down.

You could probably get something custom
for about the same price as that one from HD though.

Ya, I didnt think about a custom one.

My neighbor is a pipe fitter/welder and could probably make it stronger than that. I'll have to ask him if he could modify one.

I’ve got one from cabelas that has been good for a few years. Usually put some pretty heavy ice chests on it

Check FB marketplace or craigslist for a hitch carrier that someone used for a battery scooter or wheelchair. They are heavy duty and can be bought cheap.
