Staying next to Powell Marina. Anyone have any bass fishing reports they don't mind sharing?

A co-worker has been fishing Rayburn since Monday afternoon and text some pics of bass Wednesday. He caught most of em on top of hydrilla flats with a cherry bomb colored rattle trap. A few were caught on a 10” plum colored worm in deep water. I think he’s headed home ahead of this cold front but by the time you get there the weather should be perfect again. Good luck and let us know what’s happening out there.

Go to Buck Bay and fish drains in 5-10’early with a DT series crankbait and a Carolina rigged lizard. When the sun comes up good, move up shallow and throw a weightless senior or fluke while looking for beds. The full moon is March 18 so there will be a ton of spawners moving up.

This was my thought as well. Fish deeper early then move up shallow as the sun comes out and it warms up.
I have fished Rayburn quite a few times but haven't had the success I had in the past over the past few years beause I couldn't find hydrilla. I heard grass is back so hopefully we can find some fish.
I am planning on going to Bucks bay(haven't been there in years), Five fingers, and Coleman as I have always caught fish there as well.

If you are wanting to fish grass, you’ll need to stay between five fingers and Veach. Buck Bay has very little grass, but the fish are still there.

It will be warmed back up by then.
In the afternoon try to find some grass flats with 3-5ft of water, the sun should warm the water up. Look at the north side of the lake, it will warm up quicker "North Bank".
Senko's and suspending Rogue's, need something slow moving unless they are firing then a trap or spinner bait will get them an you can cover more water
We were there two weeks ago and did pretty good despite bad weather conditions

I will be there the same time frame. Does anyone know it there is non-ethanol gas available in the area?

The only non ethanol gas is at ol’ Millers off hwy 96 between Jasper and Rayburn.
