Anyone have any good recommendations for diving on Kaui,Maui or any other things that are a can't miss while there?
I know about road to Hana bike tour and obviously hiking to waterfalls. I've fished the big island before, and generally not looking to go fishing while there unless there's a good chance to catch marlin.
not a brag thread, and the travel board didnt help too much
Thanks!!!

Go try and kill a pig or an axis deer. Loaded with them. Not sure which island though.

I went diving in Maui it was awesome. Snorkeling is great also and much cheaper. I would also recommend a helicopter tour of the island.

Just got about a 150 lb yellowfin tuna two days ago and a buddy caught a marlin yesterday.

I'm lucky enough to say that I've caught my fair share of bigger yft but the blue marlin is still on my bucket list. Chasing them in HI is definitely tempting!

I made many shore dives off of Poipu, but if I were you I'd contact a local dive shop and set up a 2 tank boat dive somewhere. Certain times of the year shore dives can be dangerous around there. If you make it to Maui, there's a dive shop owned by a guy from Lafayette. It's been 10 or so years since I've been there and I can't remember his name, but I'll look around when I get home to see if I can find his card. He does day and night dives. The night dives with Mantas is pretty awesome.
Another cool thing to do is to hike to the Green and Red sand beaches on Maui. I took samples of each home with me. The locals said Pele the Volcano Goddess would get me but so far she hasn't struck. I guess I've been lucky.

Scuba was through the resort. We were trained in a pool then went out into the ocean. I'll try to find the name of the outfit the resort used.
Snorkeling we used Snorkel Bob's in Wailea. Our guide was great. .
