Looking to convert my 2014 Yamaha to lithium. Everything is in good shape except the batteries. Looking to if anyone has pro/cons of converting. I know there is a sizable cost of conversion.

I'm going through this now. Changed the motor to AC with the correct controller and I'm now exploring which LiPo4 battery to buy. From what I've seen they range from $150/ea to $900 + (for 12v).

I think I'm going with 4 of the 100AH @ 12v instead of one 48v battery

I did Plowman’s Riot Kit on my 2016 Yamaha golf cart.

I would HIGHLY recommend doing the 48V packs. Do either 100AHr or 200AHr if you really want to go for weeks without having to charge.

I started with 4-12V batteries and had all kinds of issues. If you go this route I highly recommend investing in a very good battery balancer. Even small voltage differences seemed to cause issues.
