Great deal on an entry level competition pistol or an excellent all around range gun...

Y'all may have seen me preaching the awesomeness of Canik pistols over the last couple years. Now is the time to get one of their top-line models of you've been on the fence!
Canik TP9SFx WITH Vortex Venom Red Dot $599!
I paid $500 for just the gun online about 8 months ago and $200 for the site at a gun show 6 months ago.

That's a lot to offer at that price point. I still have never shot a Canik, but I hear they are pretty solid.

I feel like it’s always a cheap move when a handgun manufacturer makes up an excuse as to why the gun has no sights to cowitness. If that optic fogs up or gets wet the dot is gone and you have to use irons. Then again if it’s a competition-only gun then it doesn’t really matter.

I too was concerned about losing the rear site when removing the site plate cover. However, the Vortex Venom site has white lines on the rear edge of it to act as rear sites to co-witness.
