I'm going back this weekend. Just picked up a floating basket with rod holder and plastic box and I'm gonna rig it up so I don't have to sit in the same spot this time. I'm going get them bastards this time.

All the trout we were catching were singles. Never really got into a school of em. Came in around 8:00 and there was a pair of guys just starting with live shrimp and were catching just about every cast looked like.

Now I am wondering if I should by anything other than hooks, weights and corks.

For evening fishing don't even bother starting till 5:30. It's been consistent all week starting around 6:00.

No. I'd like too but just hasn't been in the plans with getting up extra early for morning trips and then hitting the surf in the evening. Kinda hard to night fish with the whole family down with me.

The thing I hate about gulp is all the damn hardheads you catch and that shite stinks.

Maybe it's the freshie in me, but I enjoyed the morning of white trout on artificial easily as much as the specs on shrimp. The reds in the on Gulp were the highlight of my trip last year. I hope Mung brings the s again.
