Order a Chevy they don't have the charge.

ound out after I’d bought that the large information screen will be mostly useless without OnStar service. The Google map and all the apps associated with everything on the screen are apparently dependent on OnStar.
Apple CarPlay fixes all that. OnStar is simply a cellular data plan. You already carry that and more in your pocket. Apple watches can even detect when you're in an accident now. OnStar was outdated the second it hit the market.

Mannnnn I remember circa 2001 thinking that was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. The truck was a phone!

Lots of dealerships advertise $XXXX off MSRP*, if qualified.
If you bought it, and received the discount you mentioned, shouldn’t be an issue to take a pic of the buyers order & post it. Redact all personal info, of course…
So, I’m still calling BS

I dont recall ever meeting one who wasn't a lazy pretentious idiot. It is pretty fun to make them squirm a little and call you back in 3 days agreeing to your offer. ALWAYS tell them your price went down some more when they do that.
This shite isn't hard. Either you will sell me THAT truck, out the door, for X dollars or you won't. It's a yes or no conversation and it warrants about 1 minute on the phone, but you have to go in to show them you're serious. It's stupid but you might as well have fun with it.
The problem is stupid people let them get away with that shite. And now since inventories have been shite, they all walk around like their shite don't stink when they get a truck on the lot. They think they still have the world by the balls but the pendulum will shortly swing WAYYYY the other way and they'll be back begging for you to buy their shite.
If I conducted myself sround my customers the way car salesmen do around theirs, I'd be fired in a half a day.

Did you bother to click on Capitol Chevrolet’s website, click on trucks, choose Silverado LT, choose 2022 and it will pull up pages of 2022 Chevy Silverado LT’s fully loaded for $6500 off MSRP.
Give it a try so you can prove yourself wrong.

Ok, so I guess you didn’t buy one. Again, websites are one thing, buyers order another.
Funny how their “$6000 Discount” has an asterisk… I believe that I previously mentioned that.

No way. It was cool 25 years ago. It’s totally obsolete now. I guess they can track a stolen car with it, for what that’s worth these days. Otherwise it’s not at all needed and maybe it’s time for GM to do away with it. Sounds like nobody wants to pay for it so they’ve had to make it mandatory.

I’m calling your BS bull$hit.
Run down to Capitol Chevy, Austin Tx and buy you a couple or three or do like I did, go to your local dealer and tell them either sell it to you for what Capital advertised or you’re gonna call them and buy it over the phone and have it shipped to you. And Capitol will do exactly that if you want them to.
If your local dealer wants to make a sell, he’ll give you $6500 off, mine did.

Sorry to have hijacked your post OP, I’ve had to spend a little time and effort stopping what I was doing to mark up some photos and post links on here to prove to some dumbass that I got $6500 off a 2022 Chevy Silverado LT yesterday.
And it ended up with him being proven to be a douche ball dumba$$.
But to help more on your OnStar question, I’ve only had my truck a day so I’m still learning on the infotainment center but I watched a YouTube Video and the guy was covering all the OnStar controversy. He explained that Apple play and Bluetooth and iPhone cord to USB will still give you pretty much everything that Google play does so after your 3 months is over you can cancel if you want to.
If the dealer has a $1500 price upfront on it, tell him you’re going somewhere else.

All I got from your rambling nonsense if that you paid $50k for a truck that will get stuck on wet grass.
So, congrats?
