FWIW I just bought a Glock 19 a few months ago, it is my first pistol. I'm certainly not an expert, but it only failed to eject a casing twice in 500 rounds and generally shoots where I aim. Seems like a decent gun to me.

Yeah, bought it used from the range. I don't know how clean it was before I started with it but it was filthy by the time I got it home that day. Been back to the range a few times since, put about 100 rounds through each time without any problems.

I wouldn't consider that too bad. There are people here who think its impossible to jam a glock, so it's nice to read a real unbiased report.

Squirt some oil in it and feed it some good ammo and it likely won't happen very often

Friend of mine that was in the Shelby county Sheriffs department SWAT team told me that all the members of his team carried da/sa since they have their guns drawn and cocked. The SA trigger pull is lighter and therefore more accurate.

Shield is very easy to shoot. Little recoil and very accurate for typical shooting ( 25-30 feet).
Does only hold 7-8 9mm rounds tho being a single stack, but by the same token easier to conceal carry.
