We had some yahoo's running a gator tail back and forth all day Saturday while we were trying to bass fish. Young dudes doing more riding than fishing

Thing sounds like an air boat coming and going

Well about 11pm we were sitting on the deck and hear them hit something out in the lake which destroyed the motor.

Are these things safe in freshwater lakes full of underwater stumps ? They were not running the channels, just straight across the lake

You should put a sign in the water saying "best bass fishing this way" pointing to same place these baws got stuck

I was thinking the same thing. Motor on over there and mark that spot on your GPS.

If you have one from the past few years with the cast lower unit it wouldn’t be good somewhere with plenty stumps. I’ve cracked mine once before. The newer ones are now machined and I’m sure they’re a lot stronger and can take more of a beating.
