Looks like it uses the same module. I wonder if it’s a stronger signal for improved range.

If you already have livescope, you could just swap out ducer and upgrade for a little cheaper.

That's my plan. I mean, assuming true improvement over the lvs32. I really don't need it to be better. I had the best summer/fall fishing of my life last year.

Does livescope work in wavy conditions? I want to try it out on trout in bays and maybe in the surf. Anyone have experience in wavy conditions?

Are these systems useful for beating the banks like in canals, or really more for deeper water?

Livescope has completely changed the game for fishing. We are able to catch fish that otherwise we never kpwould have know was there. I will be upgrading to the new system on one of our boats to see exactly how much it is improved.

My dealer has 15 on backorder and I'm number 1 on the list. I wonder if it's that much better than my 2 week old panoptix livescope

Is it tougher to use livescope in skinny water? I’m talking 1-3’. I’m assuming 4’ and deeper works better

After using it a few days in Belle River and around Verret all I’ll say is sensory overload. 75% of the time I had fish on my screen. Fish being the key word, lots of ‘fish’. So far only schools of small shad is the only thing I’m confident I know what they are

The wind or current has been pretty brutal and having the transducer on the TM makes it kind of tough trying to really inspect cover and see if fish are related or just passing by. Gonna be tough in shallow water I’m thinking but my patience wouldn’t let me stick with it for very long stretches

I did manage to catch a couple bass after spotting ‘fish’ next to pilings under docks. I don’t know man, the book is full blown hardcore sudoku for me so far. Maybe it’s easier it certain places but I’m not seeing it so far

I’d imagine belle river would be tough. Too many shad, junk fish in there. Better off in cleaner water lakes, etc

I have had very little luck using it in more natural bodies of water that are swampish. I do very well in impoundments.

You do realize Garmin owns the tech and the others have to pay them to offer something similar. Why would Garmin let them have anything equal or better?
