Moondog is cool with his scope reviews. Dude has the camera setup to show 'basically' what you would see if you had that scope yourself- he always opens by scanning his neighborhood, where you can see true 1-1, fisheye, etc. Then looks distance, at a hillside 1400m away. Then range, normally at 25 and 100m, with min and max zoom. Very useful to evaluate the reticle, and sometimes you can see the flaws in the glass- I forget if it were a Vortex or Sig LPVO, but one of the more expensive had some fisheye at 1-1. You could see the bend on a light pole.

It's an eye-opener for the cheap Monstrum scopes. You're getting 90-95% of the glass, for 10%-20% of the price. If you don't beat them up, they're a great deal.

Everyone sleeping on NutnFancy.

Guy is still rolling out videos even though he's shadowbanned to hell and the vids still look like there made in 2012, but I don't care. They're still great. He's a true revolutionary guy who helped invent the genre.

I watch NutnFancy and sootch00, both have some nice videos. Those guys have nice production values, good reviews and aren't too preachy/proud of themselves.

I also like C&Rsenal with Othias and Mae. Very entertaining and informative, and I always get a chuckle about the big dude sitting at the table breaking down the history and details of the gun, and then the chick goes and shoots it and gives her impression of how it handles. And I have to hand it to her, she will shoot anything- that episode where she shoots the wall gun, I thought she dislocated her shoulder.

I bought a "Put a thumb in it" shirt from Kentucky Ballistics, after he blew up that cheapo .50 cal rifle and damn near killed himself. BTW, dumb to do it, but great presence of mind from him and his dad on how they handled that... most folks WOULD be dead. I laughed out loud when he recounted how he was refusing to pull his thumb out of his jugular after being Airmed'ed to Vanderbilt. I would have too, I would have made them hang a unit of blood before I'd move.

I don’t care for Herrera too much. I like Kentucky Ballistics a lot. And I like Honest Outlaw’s reviews.

No reason to take the genre too seriously. It’s all in good fun.

No reviewer is completely accurate. You have to take them all with a grain of salt.

Took a while to warm up to him. Goofy as hell, but funny.
