Anybody got a good method of getting rid of them? They’re in the kitchen/sink. Bought those little apple shaped traps and poured bleach down my drain. They’re still here.

You need the bacterial drain treatment to really get rid of them. You can trap them and they will pass but they are feeding and hatching from rotting food in the drain, the bacteria breaks it down.

Take a piece of fruit and spray bug killer on it, leave it on the counter near the sink, change out as needed.

Wine glass with red wine(preferably a day or so old) or apple cider vinegar in it. Cling wrap over the top with a 1/4” or so hole poked in the top. You can put a drop of dawn in the wine or vinegar to help trap them in it when they land. Trust me on this. Came home to a whole, rotten pineapple we forgot on the counter before we left for a week vacation. When I got home I picked it up to throw it away and a cloud of hundreds of fruit flies flew off of it. Killed them all with multiple wine glasses in a few days.

Those aren’t fruit flies. They’re drain flies. Google them. It will tell you how to get rid of them.

Apple cider vinegar in a small bowl works great for killing existing flies.

But after a month there were still a few around. Vinegar in the drain didn't do any good. They turned out to be laying eggs in the cat poop in the litter box.

As mentioned you probably have decomposing food matter in the pipes and they are drain flies. Buy a bottle of liquid plumber and follow the directions on the label. Treat your kitchen sink a couple of times a few hours apart and it will remove the gunk and flies at the same time.
