Got the overalls and matching parka top for an early Xmas gift. Am hoping the gear is as good as the warranty info that comes with it.

Mind you I almost NEVER read the tags when I buy this kind of stuff but I thought the OB would appreciate the company’s sense of humor. :)

This is their newer stuff, very different from their old paper types.
Mostly for fishing, but I understand your point if hunting is involved.

You'll enjoy those Timbo. I was on Eufaula back in the spring and the storm front didn't hit until to exactly at tournament takeoff time with lightening and straight line winds that made us think twice about why we were really doing this. It rained as hard and for as long as I remember from that moment until we checked back in for weigh in and I was still bone dry in that suit. Worth every penny.

I read the other thread bashing the FT's. I have one top from years ago. Olive drab . It serves a purpose. Its use is limited, but it is a welcome addition to my 4:00 am wardrobe in the rear truck seat.
I have used it in a January Artic front, winter mix ice & snow in the deer stand ( climber, not no plywood box ) and it worked well as a shield.
I have used it along with an Army poncho, in a torential downpour, and it eventually got waterlogged.

It has it's place.
