It was only 3 I think, out of about 100 trucks, so its not super concerning, and they were all gen 4. We generally get good service from them. With the gen 5 2500 gas bjrners and 8 spd they've been really good so far. Im thinking about trading in my gen 4 diesel for one. I dont think they've found any real problems since they started checking them.
The gen 4 gas burners with the 6 speeds were pretty janky. We went through quite a few engines. They couldnt handle the idle time. The gen 4 diesels with the aisin were absolutely fantastic. The gen 5 diesels not as good.
