If you do alotta towing though you probably wanna go ecoboost
Eh, not necessarily. Towing with the ecoboost = being in boost = crappy mpg's and lots of heat = hell on the motor/turbos. Sure, it'll get the load moving quick...but anyone who tows a lot is generally more concerned with stopping it, or should be at least.

Yeah but add a Turbo Back and tuner and the EcoBoost sounds awesome.
The sound of a spooling turbo, or two, is always awesome. I don't care if it's on a Geo Metro...

I know lots of guys who like that sound and have full exhaust on their ecoboost. I personally cannot stand the sound. I am from Livingston Parish and we like V8s.

I have the Ecoboost in my current F-150 and had the 5.0 in my last one. I have had zero problems and would not buy another F-150 unless it had the Ecoboost. The gas mileage is the same on both but I can pull whatever I want to and my mpg doesn't change. It's the only gas burner I've been in that a bass boat seems to not be there, especially passing someone.

Are these mpg numbers hand calculated, or do yall just go by the dash reading?
I have found that most vehicles can vary 2-3mpg between the two

I have done both and the dash is pretty damn accurate.

Have you added any aftermarket parts to your eco

Nope, I found out today that any aftermarket on the exhaust or anything voids the warrenty.
