Do you think the tropical storm will have any negative effects? The wind and tides look pretty good. Anyone else heading out?

Caught a dozen or so bass Saturday, and about 100 bream and a few cats today. Not a drop of rain, or much wind. Not the best fishing weekend, but not the worst, and definitely not the worst conditions.

About to head out to Delacroix now. I know the reds are hitting hard in a few of our spots. Not sure we will come across any trout today. Will keep y’all posted.......

Nah, man. Old fashioned hook, worm, and cork. Was a blast!

ETA: tried noodles, but nothing. What's the go to bait on noodles for you?

Not to get too specific, but were you near the rocks, Eloi, Machais area?

We went out by the ship channel and some of the rigs in eloi/Breton sound. Jigging plastics mostly. I think they are starting to get pushed out a little further into the sound due to the salinity levels.

Thanks that’s what I figured. Heading out this weekend with my pops and was hoping for him to catch a few. Work and kids makes it hard for me to go out much lately.

Hopefully tight lines to all and be safe
