Fishing/Crabbing Report Gulf Shores Area

Heading there this weekend. Any reports? Planning on bringing a couple poles and crab nets.

I put out a crab trap two weekends ago. Only caught two but to be fair I was more interested in catching a buzz than catching crabs.

Was out there Saturday through today. Was on the west side. Hey didn’t fish but saw a lot of black drum and reds caught. Spoke to a guy who said he caught a Spanish Mackerel and another that caught a couple school trout. All on cut bait or market shrimp.

Trout are on the beaches. Fish the surf early. Bite slows down quick.

I’ll be there middle of next month. Hope it’s the same- would love to catch some trout in the surf
