It's really nice, I wish I live a little bit closer.
The computer targets make everything easier, and you can just concentrate on shooting. You can get a lot more done.

As I had said on here before, I had bought a new Ruger 10/22 with a weaver scope package deal for 300 bucks and a Savage 10 shot semi automatic at Walmart for 99 bucks, then put a 29 dollar scope on it. I wanted to compare them new, right out of the box at 100 yards.

I did. Both of them suck.

I expected to get groups down to at least 3 inches maybe.
That didn't happen, both rifles were all over the place.

Maybe they just need a few hundred rounds ran through both?

My comparison Of My CZ 512 .22 mag, against my Savage A.22 mag went much better.

Both of these rifles were cloverleafing 3 shot groups at 100 yards.

I was able to dial the CZ onto the crosshairs after 3 rounds.(Leopold scope)
The Nikon scope on the Savage didn't cooperate as well though. I couldn't get it dialed in right on the money.

Sent it back to Nikon this week, hopefully it will come back better.
They don't allow Rimfire rifles at the longer distance range, I would have liked to try the CZ there.
I was also going to compare some .17 HMR rifles, but the wind got a bit gusty on the 100 yard range before I got to them.

Big story of the day to me, was shooting my cousin's Tikka T3 light .308.

It was the first time I had shot a Tikka, and damn, that thing was amazing.

I had not shot a rifle right handed in almost 40 years, but after 6 rounds to get use to the rifle and the trigger I shot a 3 shot group across the crosshairs in a line, all touching at 600 yards with Hornady 150 grain ballistic tips. That was with a Nikon buckmaster? 6x18x40 scope. Amazing rifle.

I ordered myself a T3 hunter LH .308 the very next day.
I hope it's as good as his is.

I got bit by the tikka big and never looked back. I’m a lefty as well.

I ended up dropping $700 on a McMillan carbon fiber stock and cut and thread the barrel to 20” with a 1:2-28 thread so I could put my suppressor on. It’s amazing

I will probably not change anything, but will probably put a really good scope on this one.

The Hunter model is a bit heavier than the light model, so recoil should be much less.

I think with a better scope,800 yard shots wouldn't be even difficult.

I just don't know a place where I could try it.
