Been using Round up/ 2-4D for years. Have to spray too often. Don't want to injure nearby trees or cows, so have been cautious. Curious about tank mixes with Roundup and MSM, or something else

I'll have to ask my dad what he uses, but it knocks shite back for 6 months. We use this at our farm where there are tons of cows and trees. Just spray when there is little wind and only spray on what you want dead
It's a mixture of 3 different things...poison, a binding agent and i think one other thing. But it'll leave a dirt patch wherever you spray so only shoot to kill
I'll get back to you.
ETA - My BIL, who's in the ag industry, just got back to me on what we use.
- Element 4 (3oz/gal)
- Roundup/Glyphosate (4 oz/gal)
- 1/4% Induce surfactant (for ex, if its a 25 gal tank, you'd use a pint)

You can mix in some triclopyr to help knock down to brush weeds.
I've sprayed imazapyr and triclopyr on fence lines and have had good success without collateral damage. As long as you don't get too close to trees you want, you should be okay.
Round-up and 2-4-D is a fine mix but it isn't as effective on brush.

I will be trying Pramitol this year. Never used it before but a neighbor used it last year with long lasting results.

We always just use a strong shot of 24D, roundup and crop oil on field roads and such.

10 Goats, they take care of everything.

I use 2-4-D, Roundup or a combo of the two. Brood mares and foals never have an issue with it. Cows should be ok too. Seems to keep the fence lines clean unless its a really wet year. How often do you have to spray?

I use remedy and grazon. Grazon has a pre emergent in it that regular 24 d doesn't have. Remedy will kill trees and bushes . Even youpon

I've had to respray sometime 4-6 times in a summer, esp where the blackberries are heavy

Maybe some Remedy will do the trick.

You need some kind of residual. Atrazine is cheap and probably has the most broad spectrum. Don’t know anything about a couple of the residuals listed.
