Does anyone have issues with corn and roasted soybean mixture in. Spin feeder?

Seems mine is getting hung in the funnel inserts after a while. Happening on all 3 feeders.

That’s your problem.

Nobody has problems feeding corn it’s the soybean mixture. You probably need to open the feeder plate which means more cost on feed.

I’d feed straight corn and add alfalfa bales depending on where you’re located.

I can’t offer any advice but I can say, remember to put the lid back on your feeder after filling it. Rain can get in there and make whiskey. Ask me how I know. Had to dump 200 pounds of corn. FML

Does it swell in the humidity? I use 55gal barrels and have the hard plastic funnel insert that feed the spin feeder. I’m assuming that the roasted soybeans and sticking to the corn and clogging up the hole.

Pick your reason why, but it’s a tale as old as time that anything besides straight corn is going to give you issues in a spin feeder.

I’ve used soybeans inside of 55 gallon metal barrel and plastic feeders forever and never had an issue of it dispensing. Really not sure what the issue would be.

In Louisiana? Yeah I didn’t think there would be an issue either. But, all 3 stopped feeding after a few days. We’ve had a ton of rain so the humidity has been super high and may have caused and issue. Other than that I don’t know what the deal it
