Between those 2, I'd get the Rigid. 1/2 inch chuck and twice the torque on the drill. Also the batteries for life, if registered seems like a good deal.

That M12 is a beast and charges really quick.

I had some CC reward points that I cashed in for a gift card to HD... decided to get the ryobi 6 piece combo. Came with a drill, driver, circular saw, multitool, reciprocal saw, and a flash light... seemed like a helluva deal for 199

I have the 2nd option and they have been great. Made in the USA and lifetime warranty even on the batteries sold me.

I've got a couple of the Milwaukee M12 tools. Great tools. Battery charges fast but the charge doesn't last long. Their M18 tools get much better life out of a charge.

This is the better M12 drill/driver kit.

$100 more, but comes with metal chucks and more power. Also the newer 6ah battery.
