False river fishing this weekend

I realize False River is a self of what it used to be. Bringing the boat there this weekend and hoping to wet a line.
Any suggestions on where to try. Not looking for secrets, just a general direction.

North and south flats early. When the boats show up hit the mouth of the south east canal then fish your way into it. That's all the advice I have on a Saturday in the summer. I would go to Old River in Morganza if I had to chose between the two.
