Eotech Recall - My Refund Was Approved

Not sure how many on this board plan to return their Eotech sights. I only own two - both are Model 512. I haven't had any issues, but have no confidence in them at this point and decided to apply for a Return Authorization.
This was easy (using the form that's on the Eotech website). I submitted my two forms (one for each sight) last Friday. Yesterday (the next business day) I received the two RA's.
Eotech is refunding the full purchase price --- plus $15 per sight as reimbursement for the shipping cost.
They did a poor job of designing the sights, and an even poorer job of correcting the design flaws once they surfaced.
But they are stepping up to the plate when it comes to the refunds. My total refund, including the shipping reimbursement = $998.
I plan to buy two more Aimpoint H-1's (I already have two H-1's and a T-1) after the Christmas rush has ended.

I saw a check the wrote to someone that was actually a credit towards another Eotech product. Was yours a check or credit?

I haven't yet shipped the sights back -- plan to send them tomorrow. But the RA's they emailed to me said they have approved full refunds.

I didn't know anything about this I guess I need to return mine for a refund.

The check I saw was for a credit. What were your malfunctions with your sights?
My understanding is that if you sighted it in the Sahara, your POS would be off in Alaska. Did you get the same results?

That pic was proven to be a fake. The refunds should all be a check not a credit for another eotech product.

Any update on this? Did you send the eotechs off yet? I am really curious as to how long they will take to send the refund.

I have sent mine back but not received the refund yet. However, I understand that they are swamped and it will take some time.
