Thanks for sharing. It isn't impossible, just more difficult, and much more time consuming (ie more unsafe if on the side of the interstate)

I had to change a complete axle in the rain on the side of I-10. Half way to New Orleans. Boat/trailer was way to big/high to be able to put it on another trailer to get it off the side of the road. Once I removed the broking axle, I had to run back to BR to Mike's. Called and they had it built by the time I got there.

Once I got back from that trip, I brought my boat to Mike's and had them build a third axle and install it. Trailer pulled 10x better as a triaxle trailer.
