I LOVED TCU when I was there. Hell I stayed an extra year just to prove it. The few classes I took at LSU I enjoyed too but think I would have fallen into the party trap there though.

We had a few that were difficult to understand but even are largest freshman intro classes were only 150 or so students so it was not hard to deal with the professor one on one if needed. I was/am actually good friends with several of my professors.
The 11:7 female to male ratio my freshman year didnt hurt either.
