I'm still recovering. Went buy a new hunting backpack and costa straps (TFM) at academy today.

in the last week my costas have taken a turn for the worst. My lenses are delaminating again. Looks like its time for their yearly trip back to get replaced

How common is that problem with costas? I seem to hear about it alot.

its very common, I got my first pair of costas in 2004. Ive had to send them back about 5 times. They just send you a new pair when you send them back. And its all covered by their life time gurantee. It just sucks not having a good pair of glasses around why they are getting replaced

I've had 2 pairs, the first was about 4 years old and the second was 2, and neither had lense problems. The first ones the rubber on the earpieces were starting to mess up, but the guy I sold them too is still wearing them with no issues.

I hate you! I dont know why mine do it. I used to think it was the spray sport suncreen, I have ruled that out. Used to think it was swimming in a swimming pool, ruled that out. I think it just happens to me because I sweat like a pig in this heat. I need to stop wearing them when I do yard work and other stuff around the house
