Swimming on the beach, must have got caught in an undertow.

Strong tide this weekend. Bad place right near the pass. That’s two drownings in three weekends.

I am still confused exactly where this occurred. Rock jetties in the front beach far west end of the island or just to the left or right of the foot of the bridge island side or chenier side?

When you cross the bridge coming on to the island it’s the big park almost dead straight off the bridge beach side. It would be behind bridge side marina. I saw the helicopter landed in the field when I was coming home yesterday.

Saw the crowd up on the top of the dunes driving from the island back to Fourchon, ambulance passed us on Hwy 1 about halfway back. No one had any business being in the surf or on any rocks this weekend

Saw some people get knocked down by waves going out pass Sat am. But at that age my dumbass would have probably been right there with them.
