Mostly heeler. My guess is a heeler mixed with a run of the mill mutt. Feed him. If yall can make friends with him, he'd be a pretty handy dog to have hanging around camp.

He'll keep the critters at bay, strangers are generally somewhat afraid of them, he'll get protective of the camp and its people, and like someone else said, they're fun dogs that will just want to hang out with you.

Yup. I knew a guy who had two of them and he turned his back yard in to alcatraz to keep them in. About a 2 acre yard but they always wanted out. They couldn't get under the fence and ended up tunneling under his shed to get out.

Heelers stick around though. Mine won’t stray away from me.

The one place she has ever been closed up in and escaped is my parents’ backyard. She will break out every time we put her back there and come around and sit on the front porch like a smart arse until someone notices.
