I know a black lab that once ate an entire hair straightener cord and all in 3 separate pieces. Believe it or not the dog actually passed it with no surgery

He's acting completely normal, he got a little bit more excited about dinner time tonight than usual
Seems like he's going to be good.

We live in the country. My labs and pit-bull have eaten whole live catfish and bream head to tail , found and eaten baby rabbits whole and field rats whilec. They eat pork ribs and steak bones and plenty of deer and wild hog meat when we have them. Chew sticks that we throw for them. And both did it while they had heart-worms and intestinal worms and when being fully treated for both and all was ok. Only issues I have seen in 30 years is constipation and they get over that. Some bad breath too! But they are well exercised and came to us as strays with the worms and we paid hundreds of not thousands to get them FULLY cured and life free of heartworms and intestinal worms. Their vets say they healthy and happy.
