Top 10 most reliable hand guns Glock has two in the top ten...
That is one of the most horseshite lists I've ever seen.
1. You linked it as "most reliable handguns" but the list says "top handguns for self-defense."
2. "Top handguns for self-defense" has no context. Defense in the home? Defense on the battlefield? Defense on the street?
3. When a S&W 686, Derringer, and Ruger LCP are on the same list, you have a SERIOUS problem. All 3 fill COMPLETELY different roles. There is no way to compare them.
While I don't like Glocks I know they are good handguns and don't need some ridiculous "top 10" from a low-budget site to tell me that.

I was just checking in to see if bapple had joined TEAM GLOCK.
I see that he did not.
Carry on.
I like Glocks, and will buy more of them. I guess I have larger than average hands and don't have any issues with the "ergonomics" that others write or complain about. I can drop the slide with my thumb, and I am accustomed to the grip angle.
I think other pistols are more accurate though, or at least I shoot them better. Walthers to be more specific.

or an HK (with LEM trigger).
what advantage does the LEM give over a variant 1 or 3?

My hate is dying a bit for blocks but my dislike is still in full force.

I think the main thing is that you get the same trigger pull for every shot, rather than DA/SA.

My thought exactly. Love em or hate em. They work. But so does most major manufacturers today. Machining has improved to the point of its not that expensive to make quality like 40 years ago.

You seriously are arguing 'kabooms'?
Na, not really. Just talking shite to the posters on here who imply that a Glock is the only semi-auto pistol that can go through an entire mag without jamming.

I see too many occurrences in my classes. People get a little bit nervous during the live fire segment, and don't get a good enough grip on their XD.
What types of groups are you teaching? People with extreme anxiety issues?
If people are so nervous/shaky that they cant properly grip the gun than they don't need to be on the line. Yikes.
As I mentioned before, the XD forces you to have a proper grip, which I've grown to like. There's no half assing it.
