Come on man.

When I was his age I didn't appreciate the things my dad did for me.

And after I went to college and didn't get to go hunting or fishing as much as I did, I realize the influence he made on me.

Truer words were never spoken my friend.

I am 32, and still hunt with my Dad and Grandfather. That is a sacred thing. Especially at my age.

Theres a pic of all of us after a limit hunt on the trophy stickied thread.

Great pics JBlood9.

You're young, and appreciate all that the outdoors grants you now.

Because when I was your age i took advantage of it. And now 6+ years later, I want to spend every moment I can with my dad who is getting older, and can't do the things we used to do.

thanks! and trust me, i do. For me, i think i've gone fishing with my dad maybe 2 times i can barely remember. My pawpaw and brother are my main "buddys" Paw is 83 and not up for going much anymore but i grew up with him, and i miss the memories already.. But mu brother has literally funneled thousands into me in the outdoors. I appreciate it all. He jsut waiting for me to be a Dr. and to get his $ back now

You're lucky man.

Just lost my last grandparent who was my closest grandparent and he taught me a few things about bass fishing.

You've got a great head on your shoulders, and keep up the good work. I wish I would have seen this board when I was your age because all I did was get out of school, go fishing till the son went down. Or... call in sick and go to my hunting camp.

Thanks man. You're a good dude yourself. I'm gonna keep doing what needs to be done. I'll have time to play later. Although i do have the occasional day like you mentioned after school/skipping work.

I've never been duck hunting, but I've shot a many of dove in my day (no idea how that translates into shooting a duck) but I have no idea of what setting out decoys and calling them in means.

haha, If youre down, I can trade duck hunt for deer hunt next year.

I've been duck hunting since i was 7 w/ my brother. Deer hunt occasionally (more recently... friends taking me to their places). But Saltwater/freshwater fishing and duck hunting is my comfort zone

I'm down, but where I hunt in AL, the bucks don't get mature enough because all the fricking rednecks around shoot anything they see, and no bucks get to legit shooting size.

We see does almost every time we go to the stand. We would like to take any does out on our camp that we could. The buck to doe ratio is about 10:1

Avid, please do exactly what you did before for those links except instead of hitting the link button, hit the img button. Then we can all see them.
