Swayback area? I would say about a grand per membership.

Close enough. Is there any duck hunting on Black Bayou? II remember as a kid there were showplace blinds out on the lake.

My pops used to smash em on Black bayou back in the day. Not sure what the hunting situation is now. Only been out there once since it became a refuge. The grass gave me and my trolling motor the redass and I left after 20 minutes.

There aren't but about 2 or 3 hunting clubs in that area, and most if not all are full. There is no private duck hunting anywhere on BB, but you can hunt the wma with rest of monroe if you want.

No mallards at all. All woodies and some gads

Silver Spur still has private rights to a piece of BB. I may or may not have lived on Joe White road at some point in life that gave me access to all of Silver Spur. Nobody ever asked for any money when I was hunting it.

I may or may not still live on Joe White and may or may not know exactly where you're talking about..

NO!!!

I was young and dumb. That's why I give kids a pass these days. I found two Alcorn state students bumping ugly a couple years ago. I let them slide after telling the buck to not leave a used condom on my property!

Have you been there long enough to remember the Llama, jackass, big horn sheep, and other normal farm animals.

Things have changed drastically. We used to have parties at the end of Joe White road. We called it "free gas" and when the sheriff pulled up you could run South to the bayou, swim it and you would be on Finks Hideaway just down from Sal's. You could take the long haul due West and come to the bayou, swim it and be on Treasure Island. Adjust your angle in between the two and come out at various points. Pecan Bayou, North Monroe Hospital, the tressel, Gene Cox. The deputies didn't have a chance!!!!

This brings back some awesome memories. We used to hunt little Cuba when there wasn't shite back there except deer, ducks & squirrels. Bon fires, levee parties, serious mud hogging (that's what we called it). Fall for me was defined by a new set of co-ops on my half cab Bronco. Cops would try to frick with us but they were way out of their league.
