Can any local Laffy experts tell me the best place in town to get flavored rice bran/corn etc. in town? New to the area and stopped in a place last weekend and I didn’t notice til I paid, how horrid the pricing was.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Railside Feed in Broussard on the train tracks is my go to. SOmetimes I'll hit up Erath Farm Supply as well but thats about 15-20 minutes from south Lafayette.

Carencro feed on University. Feed Pro near Sunset frontage rd, can see it. Chastant Brothers will pull your eyes out on prices.

Double on that. Chastants in Lafayette and Atlas in Breaux Bridge used to be in line but now are high for all. Chastants kept some good employees who know a lot but inventory seems low. Atlas has good inventory but prices high but not alot of knowledge and that older woman there worries more about shoplifters than customer service. Not real welcoming to all. Been getting my feed closer to lease now. But dang , everything is twice the cost since Biden took over so might not be their fault.

Chastant is where I went, which created this thread…it was ridiculous pricing.
Thanks for the recommendations!

Super 1 Foods usually has the best prices on corn that I’ve seen, if they have it.

Went to rail side this morning…MUCH BETTER! Great selection as well. Spent nearly HALF of what I did at “the other place”. Thanks for the 411!

There is a place in Crowley you can buy it by the super sack for $300-$400 depending on the flavor.
