Even with the wind picking up. I hunt just a little north of Waterproof and we always see deer but I’ve seen several decent bucks already. They got a nice 11pt we have in the area I’m hunting this morning. Sure would be an awesome early Christmas gift.

Any of you seeing anything this morning?

Good luck baws. Merry Christmas

Probably so! Well boys.....I have enjoyed the visit and watching the birds of the field and woods. Am surprised that I got skunked this morning but I now must retire from the field and go get ready for church. Carry on and may you have a great hunt and a Merry Christmas!!

Did just see a young 8 and another guy up here has seen a couple smaller bucks and a couple does.

Hunting right now and have seen several nice bucks chasing but they’re still a little young. I’m seeing a bunch of 3.5 year old bucks. My brother was saying the other day that a lot of these does out here had twins and sometimes triplets a few years back. Our buck to doe ratio has gotten much better.

I’m fine if I don’t get an opportunity on a bruiser this afternoon but I hope my younger brother harvests a monster. Dude has been through a lot this year and hasn’t had much time to hunt so he’s due some good luck. That would make me happier than me getting one.

All our stands up here are great and as everyone knows Tensas has a great deer population and some monsters so I’m just praying he gets that 160 we’ve been seeing on camera

We had a couple professional hog guys come in a few years ago. It’s much better than it was but I’m sure they’ll be back with a vengeance. It’s nearly impossible to eliminate the hogs up here. There are just so many. I’ll tell what I have been seeing a lot more this year is bears. I’ve seen 5 different bears on camera and hunting I’ve seen several this year
