In Breckenridge for the week and thought about making the 45 minute drive up to Vail. Any particular recommendations where to ski? We’re Green and Easy Blue skiers. TIA.

Man, I haven't ran dogs for hippies since the 60's. Great memories.

Stay in Breck…if you’re green and blue go to Beaver Creek.
I’d go to Vail for the nightlife and restaurants, maybe.

While in Breckenridge, eat at the Blue Stag Saloon. The venison meatloaf and the short rib stroganoff are fantastic.

Get breakfast downstairs at Clint's...really good bagel/biscuit breakfast sandwiches.

I don't recommend Vail given the above. Breck is much better for your situation, so the drive to Vail is not worth it. Some of my favorite skiing in recent years has been the blues in Breck, wide lanes and less people.

I don't understand all of the recommendations against vail on here and the travel board. Vail has tons of easy terrain. Hell the whole mountain is flat as frick. and should you accidentally manage to get on one of the few steepish spots, you're never more than about 3 turns from a flat cat track.
I'd take a lesson (or two) your first days in Breck and then go check out Vail if you're at all interested.
